Many of the greatest challenges facing humankind
in the coming century – global warming,
sustainable development, aging population,
scarcity of potable water and several more –
requires innovative engineering solutions to
make the world a better place to live in.
So if you are the sort of person who is
intellectually curious, loves a challenge and
wishes to make an impact on the world for years
to come, come and join the hundreds of academic
staff and thousands of graduate students who are
all actively engaged in being part of the
solutions. Come and explore whether you want to
be part of the intellectual dynamism that is
found in the research community at the Faculty
of Engineering.
I welcome you to explore our website to learn
more about our programs, our faculty, our
students and our research in any or all of our 9
departments/divisions. I hope the information
you find here helpful and informative.
Exciting research opportunities and attractive
bond-free research scholarships awaits you and I
hope you will be one of the new graduate
students we welcome to our community in the
future!
